1. Acceptance and eligibility
These terms govern access to the Omilo mobile application and omiloai.com. By creating an account or using Omilo, you agree to these terms and the privacy notice.
You must be legally able to accept these terms where you live. If you use Omilo on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. What Omilo provides
Omilo provides automated voice transcription and translation intended to help two people communicate face to face. Automated translation can contain errors, omissions, or ambiguity.
Do not rely on Omilo for emergencies, medical decisions, legal advice, safety-critical instructions, financial transactions, or any situation requiring a qualified interpreter. Always confirm important information independently.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
- Keep access to your email, sign-in provider, and device secure.
- Do not use Omilo to break the law, harass another person, impersonate someone, or transmit harmful content.
- Do not probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass technical limits of the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Do not share, resell, or automate access in a way that defeats subscription or usage controls.
- Respect the privacy and consent of every person whose voice is processed through Omilo.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Paid features may be offered as subscriptions, travel passes, or one-time recharges. Current pricing, included minutes, renewal periods, and trial terms are displayed before purchase in the app store interface.
Payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are managed by Apple or Google under the terms of the relevant store. Deleting the Omilo account does not automatically cancel a store subscription; cancel it in your Apple or Google account as well.
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep Omilo available, but the service depends on internet access and third-party systems. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular translation result, or compatibility with every device.
We may improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features. If a change materially affects a paid service, we will provide notice where reasonably possible or legally required.
6. Intellectual property
Omilo, its visual identity, software, interface, text, and original assets are protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service as intended. They do not transfer ownership of Omilo or its technology.
7. Suspension, deletion, and liability
You may stop using Omilo or delete your account at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, enforce these terms, or comply with law.
To the extent permitted by law, Omilo is provided without guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We are not responsible for decisions made solely from an automated translation. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
